Update on The Fandom

Well the photo shoot was a success!!! The boys were amazing! And hot! lol we all had a hell of a time! The desert was not hot just windy and the ride back in my jeep with no top and no doors was freaking FREEZING!!!!!!! I was surprised i didn't get sick! And then on Sunday we had our first shoot day, which went well.

The next shoot day is July 3rd and I have a lot to do before then. Have to make t-shirts, posters, photos, photo shop the photos and make some coffee mugs. I also have to rewrite scene 1 and write some ADR for the boys for when the fans are watching the TV show. But I have time so just breathe.

And I am also waiting to hear back from a few jobs while looking for others. My mom is putting some pressure on me and I hate that she does that, it's like I'm stressed enough as it is stop asking me! Anyway that is another story for another time.

This weekend is the big old family reunion! So hopefully I can relax and concentrate on that!

8 more hours

Well we are in the home stretch! 8 more hours till the photo shoot gets under way! I am soooo nervous. But I already packed the car so I know I have everything just pre-night jitters!

The Fandom - Photo shoot

The clock is ticking and the day is getting closer! Saturday is the day of the photo shoot. Got to go through my checklist to make sure I have everything.

Props - Check
Actors - Check
Vehicle - Check
Sanity - wait where did my sanity go?! Has anyone seen my sanity?!?!?! F**K!!!

Just take deep breaths deep breaths! It's going to be okay!

Well tomorrow I have to go get the last of the food and get my car washed and get gas AND go pick up some paper work to get my web series SAG certified.

So tonight I have to type up a shot list for Sundays shoot so no more procrastinating!

The Fandom

Well the script is done and casting is almost finished! THe production book is almost done as well I just have to do the daunting task of writing up the shot list. Which I hate doing the most!!! But will get it done! lol The Photo shoot is this weekend and we will be going to the Mojave desert! I hope it isn't too hot cause that will sux! Then principle shooting starts on the 20th. I am soo excited but soooo nervous at the same time!

I have been talking to my cousin who is going to be doing the graphics and making the website. It is going to be awesome!

For those of you who don't know The Fandom is about five friends who are fans of the horror/sci-fi show Hunters. They have created a website in honor of the show for the fans. Meredith the leader of the gang gets bullied at work by her co-workers because she is a fan of the show. She begins to doubt her love for the show wondering if it is healthy to have a mild “obsession” over it.

It's fun and quirky and I think the main reason I am so scared is because I wrote and am directing it and this is the first project where I am doing both, usually I just direct other peoples scripts but now it's my own and it's so personal but it is going to be epic! Just have to have positive thoughts.

As the days go by I will be posting more and more updates on the series since this is why I created this blog in the first place even though I have bullshitted on it in the past. Next weekend I will post some of the pictures so you can all see what is happening and I hope to post behind the scenes pictures as well.

Webseries Update

So I haven't posted in forever because I have been swamped with work but I have a webseries update! So the first draft of the script is finally done! Ugh! Rewrites will be happening this week and next week. Having a meeting with the Hair and make up and wardrobe people Friday. Then next week working on the production book. June 5th having a read through/meeting with the cast and crew and the photo shoot of the boys will be the 6th of June. Then we start filming the 12th of June.

I am soooo excited there is still so much to do, I was going over with my mom props and things that we will be needing for the photo shoot. Then once the photo shoot is done I have to make print outs and posters and t-shirts. Next week I will also be talking with my graphic artist about logos, opening and closing credits and the website it's self.

There is just so much to do before we start filming! I haven't felt this alive since College! It's so good to do your own project again.

I will continue to update as progress continues and will be posting photos as well!

I need a Nap

Okay so I missed posting yesterday because I was working all weekend and on Sunday went home at 4am Monday morning to catch 3 hours of sleep only to go back into work and then I got off at 6pm went home took a shower and headed over to a friends, left her house at midnight and went to bed 30 minutes later only to get up 7 hours later for work. So I am a little tired and cranky today! lol Except for the fact that I am 8 pounds thinner! And my tight pants are now my baggy pants! So I am now at 242, which I haven't been under 250 for about a year so YAY!! I want to lose 42 more pounds this year and then lose the next 40 next year. Give my body some time to adjust and get used to the new weight. So still herbalifing strong, I hope to lose at least 5 more pounds this month and then by the end of May I want to be as close to 230 as possible.

I want to start training as well for the LA Marathon next year and then look for a Triathlon to do after that. But first I have to drop as much weight as possible and get in amazing shape so here is hoping!

News on the script - 30 pages in almost done with the first draft. Shooting starts in June so I think I will make the deadline no problem! (I hope)

3 more episodes of Supernatural next. Ugh another Hellatus! lol

But 3 more months till Comic Con! Gotta start looking for a hotel.

Other then that not much is going on here besides work. Hopefully I will get to go home early and sleep, either that or I am taking a nap on the couch!

Maaah!!!

Okay so the reason I didn't post a weight loss update yesterday is cause I gained 3 pounds, but I am convinced it is 3 pounds of muscle cause my tight jeans still aren't tight anymore. So I will take the inches that I have lost but I want the number to go down damn it! Grrrrr.

Well anyway I am working on a script for a webseries that will be filming in June and July. I am 20 pages into the first draft, but I am hoping to have a lot more done this weekend. I also just started writing another short story based off a bizarre dream I had but once I get it done I will change the names so that maybe it can be my own creation of sorts and maybe be turned into a book, but we shall see. I forwarded the first 5 pages to Amanda I got that done in like 10 minutes. The juices were just flowing and I am hoping that that will help me get over my slump of the webseries.

More updates on all 3 projects later.

One last note, the pilot I worked on, Delta Blues, is airing on TNT on June 22nd but it is now called Memphis Beat. I am just going to tell you right now, it suxs! But watch it just for me! lol

Books I have been reading

So I hoped on the scale this morning and have lost 3 pounds this past week. Which is not what I was expecting. I was hoping for more but I will take it cause my tight jeans aren't so tight anymore so I might of lost some inches as well. So we are moving headstrong into week 2 and I will give you an update next monday.

In other news like my friend Amanda I too have been reading a lot of books lately. But with my busy work schedule I don't read as fast as her but I try to read at least 1 chapter a night. I recently just finished the first two books in the Strange Angels series:





When the third one comes out in July I will be sure to buy it and read it.




So in the mean time I am reading Witch and Wizard by James Patterson.



So I totally recoment the Strange Angel series if you are into Vampires and Werewolves, the first book was a little slow at first but the second book really picked up the pace. As for Witch and Wizard I will let you know what I think when I finish. :)

A Few Things

So first off Happy Easter! Had an earthquake yesterday, 7.2 that hit in Baja, California. I was lying on the couch watching TV when the building started to roll. Such a weird sensation. I really hate earthqaukes in my apartment building it just dosen't feel stable like it's going to come crashing down on me.

Also I pre-ordered the Lord of the Rings Trilogy on Blue-Ray!



And the Healthy living begins! Day 1 of 30! Goal is to lose 20 pounds! Going to fit in that bikini this year! You shall not WIN!!!! Updates on how it's going every monday. For the record I am 250lbs - 137lbs muscle. Goal weight 160lbs. But 30 day goal 230lbs! Wish me luck!

Supernatural LA Con 2010

So I went to the Supernatural LA Con this past weekend and had a blast! On a quick unfortunate note my camera suxs ass and no matter how I tried every picture I took came out blurry! :( Oh well. Anyway, Misha was in high form on Saturday. He plays the angel Cas and he has the best dry humor ever. He actually made a girl cry casue he wouldn't answer her question seriously. But I will say the question was "If Supernatural did a musical episode what song would Cas sing?" And Misha laughed and said I don't know what do you think. And she responded with a song from Spamalot and he was like well there you go, and she was like no what would you sing. And he said I would sing that song and so she got frustrated and left. Misha was like will someone check on her later and tell me if she crys cause I will feel bad. After that people kept saying he was mean, but honsetly he is hilarious! I just don't think they understood his houmor. When I got up to ask my question he was like, "what's with all the bags? You going somewhere? What's in that bag." And i answered "a sweater." "So you have a sweater on and a sweater in the bag. You know your in LA weather right?" Then I laughed and asked him if he like playing Cas as this awkward person learing human quirks like the clueless bit with the phone or do you want to see him grow and catch on? And he actually answered my question seriously with no real joke. He said "Well yes I would like him to grow because you can only not get is for so long before you start picking things up. But if you were socially awkward in high school." He points to himself. "then 20 years later you are still going to be a little awkward but if they keep writting Cas like this then he is just a slow learner." And as I left the mic he called after me "So you really have a sweater in the bag and are wearing one? In LA weather?"

It was one of the best weekends this year! And i can't wait to find out how the season ends because they all kept teasing that they knew how it ended.

I really wish I had a better source of income because as beautiful as these pieces are they are way too expensive for my pocketbook. But if I had to chose I would chose the ring and the wrap necklace. *sigh*

Running into Random People

So I was walking back to work from my car. I work on the NBC lot and who do I pass but Alan Tudyk from Firefly/Dollhouse. I have meet this man before 2 halloweens ago at the Dr. Horrible Sing along blog premiere and he signed my copy of Firefly. The funny thing for me was yesterday I was having a Firefly marathon and then I pass him on the lot today. What a wonderful happenstance!

EARTHQUAKE!!!

Okay so I know this is late but there was an earthquake at 4am this morning in LA. I was awoken by it, only because my cat freaked out seconds before it happened and jumped on me as he ran off the bed and hid under it. My bed shock like a magic fingers bed for a few seconds and then it died down. Then I rolled over and fell asleep only to be plauged with end of the world apocolypse dreams. Funny how the brain does that.

Skillet

Okay so I am totally in love with the band Skillet, I posted a music video of theirs earlier that I am in love with as well, but especially the lead singer John Cooper. MMMMmmmm so dreamy. I really want to see them in concert. I am going to go buy their cds this weekend and rock out in my underwear! LOL

I Feel Like a Monster

FREEZING!!

Okay it is offically snowing in my office. . . . . okay not really but it would be it is so cold! But luckily we are moving down the hall on friday into a warmer/bigger office.

So tonight is my last bowling night with the girls for a few months as I now found out that I will be starting everyday at 7am and ending who knows when.

I got my offical badge today which I am exctied about and my parking pass. Shooting starts tomorrow which means busy days ahead for me.

Another Day Another Dollar

OMG! Today has been uber busy with meetings and emails, phone calls and such. I hope it ends soon. But I am very excited to say we start filming Thursday which does mean longer hours for me and being busier but I am looking forward to it. I am also looking forward to hopefully seeing Alice in Wonderland this weekend. I was detained by work last weekend and the fact that is was sold out but hopefully the crowds have died down for the weekend so that I can get a decent seat that isn't 3 feet away from the screen.

Another thing going on for me is directing/writing/producting/acting (a small role) in a webseries. I hope to start filming in June which means I have to get the script done by the end of this month. So I will keep you all updated on that.

And when I get the chance I will upload a picture of my tiny ass office that we have dubbed THE IGLOO, becasue it is so F***ing cold in here I have to wear my winter clothes. lol

First day on the job

Today is my first day on the new job and I am freezing cold. LOL My office is in an old copier/office supply room, and there is a huge air duct thingy that is used for the centarl air conditioning of the whole building. So today I went from warm to freezing. But the job is totally worth it and I will just have to bring in some winter clothes for the duration of my stay.

So a little about myself. I am Italian and into sci-fi. Don't really know what I want to make this blog about but I am sure it will include what happens at work, pictures, upcoming projects and just my thoughts about life and other such stuff, and movie/TV reviews, you know whatever I fancy. :) So hope everyone had a great Monday, I am still at work but will go home soon.
