Update on The Fandom

Well the photo shoot was a success!!! The boys were amazing! And hot! lol we all had a hell of a time! The desert was not hot just windy and the ride back in my jeep with no top and no doors was freaking FREEZING!!!!!!! I was surprised i didn't get sick! And then on Sunday we had our first shoot day, which went well.

The next shoot day is July 3rd and I have a lot to do before then. Have to make t-shirts, posters, photos, photo shop the photos and make some coffee mugs. I also have to rewrite scene 1 and write some ADR for the boys for when the fans are watching the TV show. But I have time so just breathe.

And I am also waiting to hear back from a few jobs while looking for others. My mom is putting some pressure on me and I hate that she does that, it's like I'm stressed enough as it is stop asking me! Anyway that is another story for another time.

This weekend is the big old family reunion! So hopefully I can relax and concentrate on that!

Well we are in the home stretch! 8 more hours till the photo shoot gets under way! I am soooo nervous. But I already packed the car so I know I have everything just pre-night jitters!

Well I am off to bed, will post some pictures on Monday and let you all know how the weekend went!

The Fandom - Photo shoot

The clock is ticking and the day is getting closer! Saturday is the day of the photo shoot. Got to go through my checklist to make sure I have everything.

Props - Check
Actors - Check
Vehicle - Check
Sanity - wait where did my sanity go?! Has anyone seen my sanity?!?!?! F**K!!!

Just take deep breaths deep breaths! It's going to be okay!

Well tomorrow I have to go get the last of the food and get my car washed and get gas AND go pick up some paper work to get my web series SAG certified.

So tonight I have to type up a shot list for Sundays shoot so no more procrastinating!

The Fandom

Well the script is done and casting is almost finished! THe production book is almost done as well I just have to do the daunting task of writing up the shot list. Which I hate doing the most!!! But will get it done! lol The Photo shoot is this weekend and we will be going to the Mojave desert! I hope it isn't too hot cause that will sux! Then principle shooting starts on the 20th. I am soo excited but soooo nervous at the same time!

I have been talking to my cousin who is going to be doing the graphics and making the website. It is going to be awesome!

For those of you who don't know The Fandom is about five friends who are fans of the horror/sci-fi show Hunters. They have created a website in honor of the show for the fans. Meredith the leader of the gang gets bullied at work by her co-workers because she is a fan of the show. She begins to doubt her love for the show wondering if it is healthy to have a mild “obsession” over it.

It's fun and quirky and I think the main reason I am so scared is because I wrote and am directing it and this is the first project where I am doing both, usually I just direct other peoples scripts but now it's my own and it's so personal but it is going to be epic! Just have to have positive thoughts.

As the days go by I will be posting more and more updates on the series since this is why I created this blog in the first place even though I have bullshitted on it in the past. Next weekend I will post some of the pictures so you can all see what is happening and I hope to post behind the scenes pictures as well.

Webseries Update

So I haven't posted in forever because I have been swamped with work but I have a webseries update! So the first draft of the script is finally done! Ugh! Rewrites will be happening this week and next week. Having a meeting with the Hair and make up and wardrobe people Friday. Then next week working on the production book. June 5th having a read through/meeting with the cast and crew and the photo shoot of the boys will be the 6th of June. Then we start filming the 12th of June.

I am soooo excited there is still so much to do, I was going over with my mom props and things that we will be needing for the photo shoot. Then once the photo shoot is done I have to make print outs and posters and t-shirts. Next week I will also be talking with my graphic artist about logos, opening and closing credits and the website it's self.

There is just so much to do before we start filming! I haven't felt this alive since College! It's so good to do your own project again.

I will continue to update as progress continues and will be posting photos as well!

I need a Nap

Okay so I missed posting yesterday because I was working all weekend and on Sunday went home at 4am Monday morning to catch 3 hours of sleep only to go back into work and then I got off at 6pm went home took a shower and headed over to a friends, left her house at midnight and went to bed 30 minutes later only to get up 7 hours later for work. So I am a little tired and cranky today! lol Except for the fact that I am 8 pounds thinner! And my tight pants are now my baggy pants! So I am now at 242, which I haven't been under 250 for about a year so YAY!! I want to lose 42 more pounds this year and then lose the next 40 next year. Give my body some time to adjust and get used to the new weight. So still herbalifing strong, I hope to lose at least 5 more pounds this month and then by the end of May I want to be as close to 230 as possible.

I want to start training as well for the LA Marathon next year and then look for a Triathlon to do after that. But first I have to drop as much weight as possible and get in amazing shape so here is hoping!

News on the script - 30 pages in almost done with the first draft. Shooting starts in June so I think I will make the deadline no problem! (I hope)

3 more episodes of Supernatural next. Ugh another Hellatus! lol

But 3 more months till Comic Con! Gotta start looking for a hotel.

Other then that not much is going on here besides work. Hopefully I will get to go home early and sleep, either that or I am taking a nap on the couch!
